But, like Analog Heart before it, David Cook's self-titled album grows on me more with each listen. I think what it is, for me, is the quality and range of David Cook's voice. There's just something about it that's grabbed my ear's attention and hasn't let go. These were the first CDs I bought and paid for in at least 10 years....mostly because I got tired of paying for one or two songs and no amount of listening made the rest get any better. Not so with either of Mr. Cook's efforts....every song on both albums earns it's place on MY Zen player..
