I'm not sure it's fair to compare them at this point because he hasn't had the same amount of time to accumulate fans like Kelly has. If you didn't know her from Idol, you sure found out who she was with her hit albums and hit songs after the show. The advantage David would have is being able to avoid the same problems Kelly had with management once she did win. She made all of that public and therefore those that won after her would not go through those entanglements and delays. Give David a few years then compare them.
